I'd like to think of myself as a humidifier connoisseur. Suffering from asthma and a house that is always too dry, I've been sleeping with a humidifier since I was a teenager.

I'm a mom of 2 now and the most important thing for my children is the air they breathe in! I've went through dozens of humidifiers from Vicks, Vornado baby, Crane, etc., before I stumbled upon this one. The fact that it's filter free and "prevents mold" sold me immediately. That was my biggest concern with other humidifiers in the past - that nasty pink slime that always forms in the reservoir, whether it's been used for two days or two months.

I bought this humidifier hoping that I had finally found that holy grail product. It's only been 2 weeks since I've been using it and it already has that pink slimy mold in the reservoir! Mind you, I used distilled water, plus it is left plugged in 24/7. Absolutely disappointed!

Not worth the money, plus the light is horrible at night. More blinding than it is soothing. Save your money and buy something cheaper. It'll probably develop the pink slimy mold on it, but at this point, I'm convinced they all do 🤷🏽‍♀️

Revamping my original review, as this thing is not built to last. Purchased in November 2020 and died April 15th 202. 4 1/2 months and it's going into the trash. The irony is my amazon "return by date" was just 4 weeks ago. Go figure. Put in an email about warranty, which it is well within, but not sure I want to deal with these people,as they are inept to non-existent when it comes to customer service and responding---so opted for tossing it and looking around for another unit. Their loss/My loss...Never again.

First of all, it does kill the germs and keeps the tank clean. I've gone full week without cleaning and it's still sparkling clean...but... that light is SO bright, my little guy couldn't sleep. And he sleeps with a little light on. So, I had to cover the tank light, which makes it a little better. It's a major design flaw. That whole room turns bright. Also, lots of condensation on the tank, and I don't know how to fix it or what I am doing wrong. Will most likely be returning this. Although, I do like how clean it stays 😕
